Project Objectives

Create a Free Trade Zone (FTZ) featuring bonded warehouses, cold-storage logistics, commercial offices, technology parks, and integrated hotel accommodations to attract global investment and trade partnerships.

Develop a state-of-the-art deep-water port, enabling fuel bunkering, bulk exports, vessel maintenance, and expanded maritime logistics to support regional and international shipping activities.

Establish a Silica Processing and Float-glass manufacturing facility, leveraging Suriname’s natural silica resource base to drive industrialization and high-value exports.

Construct a 63 MW hydrogen power station to supply clean, stable, and scalable energy for the port, industrial zones, and surrounding communities.

Build Cargo & Executive Airport and Heliport, supporting offshore crew movement, corporate aviation, medical evacuations, and emergency response operations.

Develop a UN-aligned Food Security Complex, featuring:

  • A central food-security warehouse
  • A food-processing plant
  • Out-grower farms covering up to 50,000 hectares for CARICOM member states

Establish an advanced indoor food-growing greenhouses, including climate-controlled vertical farming systems, to ensure year-round crop production and national food resilience.

Construct a Tier III/Tier IV-ready Data Center, providing digital infrastructure, cloud hosting, cybersecurity resilience, and regional connectivity for government and private sector operations.

Build a fully integrated town center, which will include a modern hospital, navy, airforce and customs berths and accommodation, commercial services,

A 120+ room Hotel & Marina facilities for tourism, business travel, crew changes and port operations.

The land is strategically located at the junction of the Coopename and Saramacca Rivers, offering ideal access to offshore marine oil and gas developments while remaining remote from population centers. It lies 45 miles from Paramaribo, 65 miles from Johan Adolf Pengel International Airport, and approximately 85 miles from the Guyana border, with Georgetown a further 176 miles away. The property sits along the main coastal highway connecting Brazil to Venezuela and is already serviced by the national electrical grid. It is also contiguous to additional acreage available for preferred acquisition through our local partner and is situated directly north of the fishing village of Boskamp.

Airport – Regional-Class Aviation Hub with Helicopter Pads

A purpose-built regional aviation hub engineered to support high-frequency crew-change operations, offshore logistics, cargo movement and light international traffic. The airport will features a 2,200 m ICAO-compliant runway, precision approach lighting, and expanded apron space for turboprops, mid-size jets, corporate aircraft, and cargo jets. A modern terminal supports customs processing and rapid passenger throughput.

Integrated into the airfield is a dedicated cargo terminal with temperature-controlled storage, advanced freight-handling systems, bonded warehousing, and airside loading ramps—enabling seamless movement of offshore supplies, high-value goods, medical shipments, and regional cargo trade.

Designed as a multi-role aviation node, the airport supports med-evac missions, offshore crew rotations, corporate aviation, humanitarian flights, and rapid-response emergency airlift, ensuring year-round operational reliability for the entire development.

The aviation complex also includes six fully equipped helipads, supporting national sea-rescue operations and fast helicopter transport to and from offshore oil and gas platforms.

Electrical Energy & Power Hub

Port Boskamp integrates advanced energy services and logistics, serving as a central platform for electrical and hydrogen energy production. The hub is designed for scalability to support future growth and energy distribution to the Government of Suriname’s national power grid.

In addition to power generation, the facility will provide value-added services such as electric vehicle charging stations in the town centre and a hydrogen fuelling station for buses and other transport systems.

Key Feature:
✓ 93MW electrical power plant utilizing hydrogen fuel produced from water, supported by molten salt battery storage and integrated super-capacitor systems for enhanced energy efficiency and reliability.
